Mission IAS under Project Shiksha Ki Kiran: “Empowering Aspirants for Success in Civil Services Examination”

In February 2024, Share India Smile Foundation launched its prestigious project in Karol Bagh, Delhi, “Mission IAS”, under the broader initiative of Project Shiksha Ki Kiran. The primary objective of this project is to provide support to candidates preparing for the Civil Services Examination, especially those facing significant barriers such as financial constraints, limited access to quality coaching, and the lack of basic life necessities.

Mission IAS aims to be a beacon of hope for aspiring civil servants who dream of serving the nation but struggle with various challenges. The foundation plans to assist aspirants by offering free boarding, food, coaching, guidance, and mentorship.

Through Mission IAS, Share India Smile Foundation reaffirms its unwavering commitment to socio-economic empowerment and nation-building. By providing these essential resources, the foundation strives to break down the barriers that hinder talented individuals from achieving their dreams and contributing to the country’s growth and development.

Shatakshi Educational TrustSrijanshala: A Primary School in Gopalganj, Bihar

Since 2021, Share India has been supporting Shatakshi Educational Trust in running Srijanshala, a primary school initiative aimed at providing quality education to underprivileged children in Gopalganj, Bihar. With three main centres across different areas of Gopalganj, the program focuses on delivering essential primary education underprivileged children.

The Srijanshala project currently benefits around 700 underprivileged children, offering them access to modern educational resources and a supportive learning environment. By emphasizing inclusive education, the initiative strives to break down the socio-economic barriers these children face, providing them with a solid foundation for their future academic and personal development.

Through this project, Share India is playing a significant role in improving educational opportunities for marginalized communities, helping foster the growth of young minds in rural Bihar.

Orjet Foundation: Online Education Programme for speech and hearing-impaired children

Since 2021, Share India has been supporting Orjet Foundation in conducting online education program for speech and hearing-impaired children. The program is tailored to meet the unique needs of these children, equipping them with essential communication skills including Indian Sign Language (ISL).

The initiative has had a profound impact, enhancing the confidence of specially-abled children and their families, giving them the tools to navigate the world more effectively. Additionally, the program also creates meaningful employment opportunities by hiring specially-abled teachers.

This educational effort reflects Share India’s commitment to inclusive education and empowerment, positively transforming the lives of these children and their families. In 2024-25, the program benefitted 96 students.

Hindu Kanya College: Empowering Women through Remedial and Skill Enhancement Classes

Since 2023, Share India in collaboration with Hindu Kanya College, has been offering remedial classes with transportation facilities in Computer Science, Commerce and skill development courses such as Fashion Designing and Cosmetology for female students in Kapurthala, Punjab.

This initiative aims to empower women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds by providing them with practical education and skills to improve their employability. The program focuses on equipping women with job-ready skills, boosting their confidence, and fostering financial independence, ultimately contributing to inclusive economic growth.

To date, over 100 families have benefited from this initiative, demonstrating its positive impact on both individual and their communities. Share India remains committed to empowering women and supporting their socio-economic advancement.

Los Amigos Society: Supporting the Learner International School

Share India has funded Los Amigos Society to support the construction and infrastructure development of a school in Greater Noida. This project aims to establish educational institutions that adhere to international standards, offering high-quality education to young learners both in India and abroad.

The initiative focuses on creating a holistic learning environment that nurtures the curiosity and compassion of students.

To date, the project has benefitted 700 individuals, contributing to a brighter, more inclusive educational future. Share India’s commitment to this cause reflects its strong belief in the transformative power of quality education to enrich lives and strengthen communities.
