Formula of Moving Average

SMA is calculated using the following formula:

EMA is calculated using a more complicated method that gives more weight to recent values. EMA of (previous day) is:

Price = EMA (previous day) x Multiplier + EMA.

Multiplier = (Number of periods + 1) / (2 / n)
