The latest update to the Share India app brings many new, exciting features and improvements that will make your investment journey smoother than ever before. Here’s more!

Splash and Authentication Screens

Upon opening the app, users are greeted with a visually captivating splash screen, setting the tone for an engaging and immersive user experience right from the start. As they navigate through the new authentication screen, they are presented with a seamless onboarding process, where they can choose between logging in with existing credentials or creating a new account effortlessly. Experience an enhanced login process with more convenience and accessibility, complemented by robust security measures such as Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) or biometric authentication during the first login. This intuitive design ensures a secure and convenient login experience, thus prioritising user satisfaction and peace of mind.

New and Enhanced Tabs

With the introduction of the new ‘Home’ tab, alongside staples like Watchlist, Orders, Portfolio, and Profile, and the existing Watchlist, Orders, Portfolio, and Accounts tabs, accessing essential features is now more streamlined. Whether you’re monitoring market trends, managing your investments, or fine-tuning your profile settings, each tab offers a gateway to a specific aspect of your trading experience, ensuring you have everything you need at your fingertips.

  • In fact, with the introduction of the new Pinned Watchlist feature, keeping a close eye on your most crucial investments has never been easier. This innovative feature empowers you to curate a personalised watchlist comprising up to 5 symbols of your choice, allowing you to monitor their performance effortlessly. Whether you’re tracking stocks, indices, or other financial instruments, the feature provides a streamlined and efficient way to stay informed about the assets that matter most to you.  
  • Additionally, with the default landing page set to the Watchlist, users can immediately move into monitoring their pinned symbols upon opening the app, enhancing efficiency and convenience.
  • Moreover, Index Watchlist offers a specialised area for tracking NSE and BSE indices, facilitating comprehensive market monitoring. Users can also include indices in the market picture for a holistic view of market performance and easily access the constituents of each index directly from the index market picture, streamlining research and analysis processes for informed investment decisions.

Home Page Improvements

The Home Page enhancements offer users a refined interface with strategically placed banners for essential updates. Additionally, a dedicated block facilitates swift access to an array of products and tools, encompassing features like the Indices Watchlist, Algos Connect, IPOs, and real-time market movements, including Top Gainers, Top Losers, and Most Active Securities by Volume. These enhancements optimise user navigation and facilitate informed decision-making, enhancing overall trading efficiency.

Symbol Change 

The Symbol Change feature enables users to swiftly change symbols directly from the market movement tab, eliminating the need for navigating to separate menus, thereby enhancing trading efficiency and fluidity. 

Streamlined User Interface

The Share India app’s latest update brings significant UI enhancements. 

  • Watchlist now offers insights into holdings quantity for each symbol.
  • Market Picture boasts a vibrant new buy button colour, along with volume percentages and a comprehensive price tracker. 
  • Users can seamlessly modify orders and enhance their trading experience with improved filtering in the Order Book. 
  • Positions Tab provides detailed position data and intuitive add/exit/convert buttons. 
  • Holdings Tab empowers users with features like PnL tracking and pledge holdings, offering streamlined profile management and quick access to essential pages.

Customisable Theme Options

  • In the Settings Tab, users can customise themes with Dark or Light mode. Password and security consolidate all 2FA options for ease of use. 
  • The Pass and Security Tab simplifies 2FA with a QR code view and displays active sessions. Therefore, all passwords and user access options are consolidated in one place.
  • The market watch price changes are now to be calculated from the opening and closing prices.

Enhanced Investment Tools

  • Additionally, users can choose between order forms for regular, BO/CO, and AMO orders, and switch trading methods between quantity and amount.
  • Users can now leverage the IPO Bidding feature to submit bids for multiple investor types, enhancing their investment strategies. This addition aligns with the platform’s commitment to providing comprehensive tools for investors of all levels, promoting inclusivity and diversity in the trading landscape. 
  • Incorporating NSECM market analytics onto the home tab enhances user experience and underscores Share India’s dedication to facilitating informed investing decisions.

  • Share India’s commitment to transparency extends to transaction tracking, allowing investors to review their transaction history conveniently located at the bottom of the order details sheet.
