While you save on brokerage, certain statutory charges still apply when placing delivery trades:

1. STT/CTT (Securities Transaction Tax/Commodities Transaction Tax): 0.1% on both buy and sell transactions.

2.Exchange Charges:

  • NSE: 0.00297%
  • BSE: 0.00375%

3. GST (Goods and Services Tax): 18% on the sum of brokerage (if applicable), SEBI charges, and transaction charges.

4. SEBI Charges: ₹10 per crore of the trade value.

5. Stamp Duty: 0.015% or ₹1500 per crore on the buy side transactions only.

6. Investor Protection Fund Trust Charge: NSE: 0.0001%
