Yes, an NRI minor can open a Demat account with Share India Securities, operated by a guardian until they turn 18. The guardian of the minor needs to fill out the required forms, attach supporting documents, and courier them to the following address:

Application Forms Required
- Demat account opening form (PDF)
- Separate KYC application forms for the minor and the guardian (PDF)
Supporting Documents Required
- Minor’s birth certificate
- Passport
- PAN card
- Guardian’s KYC documents, as stated in the KYC application form
- NRE/NRO bank details
- Notarised overseas address proof
The guardian should sign all forms and documents, as the minor is not authorised to operate the account independently.
