The withdrawable amount in your trading may be lower than your total balance due to a few reasons:
- Pending Settlements: If you’ve recently bought or sold stocks, the funds may not be available until the transaction settles, which can take a couple of days.
- Margin Requirements: If you’re holding any open positions, part of your balance is reserved as a margin to cover any potential losses, and those funds are not available for withdrawal until you close your positions.
- Open Positions: If you’ve invested in stocks, the amount tied up in them isn’t available for withdrawal until you sell or clear the positions.
- Margin Maintenance: Some funds may be reserved for margin maintenance to meet any future margin calls.
- TDS Deductions (for NRI clients): For NRI clients, taxes may be deducted, reducing the available withdrawal amount.
